Our softwood windows are made using only high-quality, sustainably sourced timber — delivering a smart balance of aesthetics, performance and affordability. Unlike standard joinery softwoods (usually Grade 5), we only work with Grade 3 or higher, ensuring a superior finish and long-lasting durability.

By default, we use unsorted redwood, a term commonly used in the trade to describe softwood that has actually been sorted for quality. This timber contains fewer knots, a more consistent grain, and provides a cleaner, smoother surface — ideal for painting or staining.

PRESERVATIVE TREATED FOR LONGEVITY

To ensure maximum protection and lifespan, all of our softwood is:
